wrote a review for this. =) The review is as below:

My friends n I went there for dinner on 24 December 2011. There was a long que but we did que for it anyway. =) It's better to call for reservation first if you are planning to go there cause during the weekends, there are a lot of people and the seats inside the restaurant are quite limited as well.

The prices are quite reasonable. My friends ordered the chicken chop and i ordered the pacific dory and we are sharing the calamari too. =) We upgraded the meal as well. add $3.50 ++ and you will get the soup of the day, a drink (ice lemon ice, lime juice and one more choice which i cannot remember. lol).

The food arrive quite fast. We did not expect the main course to comes with the spaghetti, but it did. yippee.. the food is not bad actually.

just that don;t quite like the way the waiter just put the bill on our table indirectly hinting to us that we should leave soon. it's kinda rude though but understandable in a way because there are still a lot of people waiting for seats outside. ah well. =)

Not sure how to name the blog title. so just use hmm.. late at night now. still not slping yet. i think i shall go see Mission Impossible 4 tmr at gv grand. i was browsing through the timing and amazed that the 10.10 am show, there's quite number of people who want to watch it. i shall wake up early then. heee.. anyway seats for one person is quite easy then. =)

I'm kinda getting comfortable to seeing movies alone i guess. i have to get used to it. i don;t think i can find anyone anymore. lol. what is wrong with me? i feeling emo again. lol total nutcase i am. lol i should be slping now. I still have friends. lol so i'm ok for the time being. =)

haha just wrote a review on insing.com for this place. Too bad i did not took any pictures of the food. recently i think i have been lazy though in taking pictures. my camera is getting dusty soon. lol anyway , the review is as follows

"Went to this place with my friends on 15 December 2011. I ordered the Grilled Salmon with Mushroom Sauce (i think so. ) The mains comes with a salad bar which consists of a few varieties of salad, nachos and spaghetti. hmm.. don;t really like the spaghetti because it's kind of spicy. well. at least the nachos is free flowing with the sauces that are available. The varieties of salad is lesser compared to the salad bar at Sizzler.

The grilled salmon is not bad actually. the portion is alright and the taste is ok and everything. One of my friends ordered the seafood pasta. Interestingly, the pasta is wrapped with paper and you have to unwrap the paper to eat the pasta. lol

another friend of mine order two slices of cake : the chocolate fudge caramel cake and the strawberry cheese cake. i personally love the strawberry cheese cake. super like it. The chocolate fudge caramel cake is not so nice though.

I was there with 9 of my friends, total 10 of us inclusive me. we could hang out and chill and chat there. it wasn't so noisy and all even though we are seated outside the restaurant but within 313 basement level.

The service was pretty good too, the waitress who took our group photo was patient too. She take a few more photos of us until we say ok. her photography skills is not bad too. my friend posted the picture in facebook and other friends commented saying that this picture is very nicely taken =)"

i did not really read the synopsis for this show but i m glad i catch this film today. I kinda understand what adam is going through. i don;t have cancer but then having lupus enables me to understand maybe a quarter of what he is going through. Whenever there is sad scenes, my tears started to flow down uncontrollably. i think it's because i was able to kinda see how he deals with cancer, his girlfriend cheating on him and also how his best friend is there for him.

Kyle is his best friend that does not seems to care that much about him. He always seems to use adam's sickness to hook up with girls and all but in actual reality, he is anxious and try to be there for his friend in his own way. He could not stand how adam's girlfriend has treated him and that he commented that all of adam's girlfriends are not so nice people. lol he approves of Katherine. he is truly happy for adam when adam finally find his own happiness in the end.

Adam's mum makes me think of my own mum. how sad at that moment to find out that i have stroke at such a young age, couldn't walk or couldn't move for the first week in the hospital. she has to bath me and take care of me. well.. like Adam's mum, at that point of time, my brother has just recovered from another illness n now it's my turn. I went to appointments myself and all not because my mum does not care or anything. seriously when u are waiting with the person to see a doctor or rather a follow up appt, it's tiring to just sit there and wait i guess. lol i can occupy my mind with my phone but my mum just fall aslp and furthermore she had to wrk. so she just accompany me to the doctor for a couple of times n i went myself from there.

Katherine is a new therapist. i don;t know abt her. she is an inexperienced therapist who doesn;t know what she is talking. the things that she say makes me go "what are you talking abt? " and really realise that people who is doing these kind of therapist job really needs to be emphatic towards their patients and sincerely care for them and all. because the people that your facing is having cancer and all or they might have even bigger problems.

Adam's doctor is a typical doctor that does not get in touch with his emotions when it comes to discussing abt the medical condition. From the first time he break the news to adam, it seems that he is afraid to tell him his condition and used a lot of medical terms to cover up his uneasiness to break the news to adam. i'm not sure if i'm right abt this but then this is how i feel when i see the doctor. lol

This show reminds me that it's harder to be at the place over the rainbow. There are always challenges n obstacles to get there. you might feel it's unfair that things happen to you. like in the show, adam got cancer, it wasn't because of the things that he don;t smoke, do exercise n everything but these things still happen to him. i did not ask to have lupus. but it just happen and there are things that we cannot explain. there are situations that we cannot avoid, there are obstacles that we just have to get though. we just have to hold on to the very end until we get to the place over the rainbow. lol until then, it's a long long journey ahead.

A Date with Badminton. =)

Today is Wednesday. lol n that means i have a date with badminton. lol i started learning badminton since november 2011 which is last month. wanted to just learn from the basics and all. School fees is cheap too. kinda cheap compared to outside lessons i guess. This one is of the Singapore sports council. lol

I think i'm the worst student ever. cause i don;t have gd stamina n all but i'm not willing to bow down or anything. i guess i still can do well somehow in this sport somehow i guess. At least i keep to my appointment with badminton and keep to my fortnightly date with cheryl to play badminton together. i guess i have made progress somehow.

i have also made progress in terms of making use of my left hand. eating with fork and spoon, eat noodles with spoon and chop sticks. recently my left palm start to ache too which is kinda surprising considering that the doctor say that the muscles are kinda wasted and all. i also can see the differences in the sense that my left hand is smaller than my right hand.

Maybe not so much progress but at least progress somehow . i guess it's a gd start to stick to a kinda of appointment. My 2012 planner came today. superb. love the cover. Today is a good day =)

haha i actually record a video saying all my feelings yesterday. meant to put it up yesterday but in the end was too tired and fell aslp. ;p; actually conclusion would be i will not fall into the pit of self pity just because i'm not attached or anything. lol =p i just have to keep myself busy till the person comes along. =) wish me luck =p

That Obscure Object of Desire

hmm.. today went to see a movie, french movie with english subtitles. did not really know what to expect from the movie when i saw the synopsis of the movie. it does rather sounds interesting. so just go n see it. lol

some things are quite interesting. two actresses play the role of a woman. at first i thought maybe they depict different sides of the woman but apparently not really? there was no interruptions or disruptions in how the story goes n stuff. so it's kinda weird but yet interesting i guess. lol

There is a vicious cycle depicted in the movie. the guy is captivated by the woman who denies him of having sex with her but just continuously tease him nonetheless, tempting him. each time they met, the woman just leads him on , the guy wanting to get out of the cycle but keeps going back to her. i guess just proves that he can't get away from the woman's clutches? lol i don;t know. even till the end, the woman was so super cruel to the guy till i was like "oh my the woman is really atrocious. "

i don;t understand why the woman still go n find the guy even after all the cruel things she has done to him. i guess the woman can't get away too. maybe she enjoys manipulating the guy's mind, in control of him and all. and the guy couldn;t take it anymore hits the woman and want to return to paris. the woman found him and there was a scene whereby the woman drenched the guy with a bucket of water and ran to the toilet and pull a :P face at the guy. i was like .. =.=" hmm.. is this a game between them in the first place? lol i think so, a manipulative mind game. lol

The woman's mother suggested herself to be a morally upright person but then in the end sells her daughter away for money. i don;t know but when i was watching the movie. i thought the conversation between the three of them is kinda funny but yet the woman knew exactly what was the mother doing all along.i don;t know, ah well..

but in the end, i'm not really sure if they died because there was a blast at the end. i read some reviews just now and they seem to believe that the guy and woman died in the blast but the thing is the explosion is behind them not really directly at them. so the ending is kinda an ending that allows the audience room for imagination. i guess. lol i don;t know. lol

Overall, i think the movie is very funny and very interesting. i like it. lol =p
